Prevost Harbor Contemplation…

Our Prevost Harbor Anchorage in early June at the start of our 2026 ongoing wanderings. The Eriksen Farm in the background. Grey skies and wavelet perturbations slinking past Great Northern set the stage for a quiet day afloat. A light drizzle landing on deck and throughout the anchorage lends to an atmosphere of introspective musing about our tidy ship and surrounds.
Bliss, in a personal space of deep muse…
Leo the poser… perched on a mossy rock on the path to the schoolhouse and Turn Point during yesterday’s hike.
A protective raft of geese in the foreground. Adult in the front and rear, adolescents and goslings in the middle. In Haro Strait, a ship is making its way Southbound soon to pass around Turn Point. A small fish boat is exploring a small bay on the West end of Satellite Island. The backdrop: The Canadian Gulf Islands of South Pender and Saturna.
A bit blurry, but a reasonable construct that demonstrates how the raft sets up security parameters…
The Yaks are still roving the green pastures of the Eriksen Farm…
No hike today due to rain… means: naptime…
What? I’m napping here…
This one has the perfect name, eh?
Bookends…
It’s not all about the dogs… My brother took this incredible shot in his San Diego back yard aviary.
