Images of Grandeur

I wanted to entitle this tome: “Visions of Grandeur”.  But… after a bit of rumination, I concluded that using the word “Visions” as in “Visions of Grandeur”, might suggest a double entendre and diminish my intent:  To share the visual poetry that Les and I have been privileged to share in our Puget Sound and Salish Sea wanderings.  The images I’ve chosen, capture and freeze moments along our timeline.  When we view those frozen moments, they thaw a bit for us.  And… the ghost of those memories and emotions become alive again.  I do hope that some of them may revive a comparable memory or emotional response that you haven’t savored for a while.  At the very least I hope you enjoy reviewing them.  Pick your favorite and let me know which one it is…

  1. Prideaux Haven, Offseason is my favorite and the fact that I had a small part of this next Chapter. I saw HERON being sold again recently. Hope you both have a great 2025 cruising season.

    1. Well… from the time we interviewed you… at a boat show… you’ve always been good to us. With boats, eating huevos Rancheros together in G Bay and helping to solve our ongoing footitis issues. Always good to hear from you.

  2. These photos are all spectacular! If I had to pick only one, it would the ship Washington at sunset. But truly all were beautiful  😍
