Whatever floats your collective boats

Tis a rainey, Windy day over here in Port Ludlow. Perfect day to create a lovely pot roast, a nice risoto, sip an approachable wine, or just sit and stare out the window and contemplate your good fortune to have survived or at least acknowledge that another year is just about to become the past.

Some snaps of our last year cruising the Salish Sea:

Our winter view of the Eastern Olympic mountains
Les trecking on the local trails just after last February’s snowfall
Great Northern on the dock at Port Browning, North Pender Island just a month or so ago.
A man and his dog sharing a moment
Orca just off Turn Point on Stuart Island
Evening sky colors from our anchorage on Stuart Island
    Les on paddleboard
Traversing the Port Townsend Canal in Great Northern
Laughing loon just off the port side
    World famous French onion soup
The Guru Diva of knitting in exotic places
    Eager Anticipation

There we have some of it in a few snaps. More coming next year…

    1. I hope you and Les had a very Merry Christmas and have a healthy and happy New Year! We are up in Vallejo and had Christmas with all the kids! Yikes!!Heading back home starting tomorrow with a couple of visits on the way We are doing well.  I still have issues with my back but it doesn’t stop us. I’m glad you both are healthy and continue to enjoy the water.  Your pictures of the scenery are incredible. Love and hugs,  Elaine  Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize, Conquer
