Why, one might ask? Well… we were off to the Port Townsend Co-Op to have a new bow thruster installed. So what if it’s 24 degrees with snow and ice on the ground… WE WANT A NEW THRUSTER!!

Tala Point to starboard
Tala Point stage right. Behind it hulking in the distance is Foulweather bluff. Center stage is (I believe) Glacier Peak. Stage left is Whidby Island. Whatever… it was perfect winter weather for flitting about the Salish Sea.
Next up: Mount Baker, resplendent in her winter coat. Cold temps and low humidity make for a very clear view.
The next morning: Haul-out day… Sunrise.
Great Northern on the hard. Tented to keep snow and rain out of the area where the new thruster will be installed.

The game… is afoot.
